Does anyone have a valid explanation why the KGB-Putin-Moscow run propaganda outlet Russia Today has an infatuation with Ron Paul and his followers? The overwhelmingly cheerleaderish coverage is not only vexing, it's creepy. The sooner freedom lovers cut ties with this "news" outlet, the better.
Russia Today has always been a propaganda outlet. Their reporting is unabashedly biased, routinely portraying Iran and Hezbollah in a positive light and America and Israel in a negative light.
Russia Today has been labeled "Soviet style propaganda", "a pro Putin news outlet", "unashamedly pro Putin", "Kremlin propaganda", and "a raw propaganda channel" by various commentators from around the world.
From Wikipedia's article on Russia Today:
Taking just a quick glance at Russia Today's official site, you can sniff out the agenda in an instant.
Another interesting tidbit from the article on RT:
Yes, there is a reason why Russia Today offers creepy support to Ron Paul and it isn't because they love the Constitution.

From Wikipedia's article on Russia Today:
"An article by Accuracy in Media criticized RT as a "propaganda network funded by the Moscow regime of Vladimir Putin" and charged that it "regularly features Marxist and radical commentators. The article also cites the description of the network by former KGB officer Konstantin Preobrazhensky as "a part of the Russian industry of misinformation and manipulation" designed to mislead foreign audiences about Russian intentions." Furthermore, Preobrazhensky argues that Russia Today utilizes methods of propaganda that are "managed by Directorate 'A' of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service" and that "the specialty of Directorate 'A' is deceiving world public opinion and manipulating it. It has got a lot of experience over decades of the Cold War."No, the Cold War never quite ended. There is a reason why Russia Today has embraced the Alex Jones/Jesse Ventura/Ron Paul conspiracy crowd with all it's 9/11 Trutherism. It absolves them of accepting the threat of Islamic extremism so they can continue to wheel and deal with said Islamists in a perpetual open war against the state of Israel and a quiet, covert war against America. Not only that, it is psychological propaganda war gold. Fuel civil unrest in your enemy's land. The Commies that never quite let go must love Infowars and the conspiracy nuts who want to bring about violent revolution in the United States. They also seem to have embraced Ron Paul's rise to stardom here, as it has challenged the status quo, shaken up the establishment a tad, and changed the political atmosphere in the United States. I wonder how many Russian agents are facilitating this phenomenon.

No money for you! US punishes Pakistan for sentencing doctor who helped catch bin Laden
Yes, those are real headlines. That Iranian ship chasing away pirates story was just parroted with glee over at the Daily Paul. Why the overt praise of Iran? I just don't understand it sometimes.
Another interesting tidbit from the article on RT:
"On April 17, 2012 RT was the first network to air the World Tomorrow, a news interview program provided by WikiLeaks and hosted by Julian Assange. The first guest was Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah."You see how this all comes together? Russia Today (Russia) gives a platform to Islamists who hate Israel and America. Ron Paul routinely sympathizes with Islamists who hate Israel and America. Julian Assange gets his own show on Russia Today (Russia). Julian Assange wages cyber war against US forces who are fighting Islamists who hate Israel and America. Ron Paul praises Julian Assange for waging cyber war against US forces who are fighting Islamists who hate Israel and America.. Islamists who hate Israel and America commend Julian Assange for joining them. Russia Today (Russia) continues to throw fuel on the fire while they sit back and watch America burn. I get it now.
