Info Post
I was a little taken aback by the words of Congressman Akin from Missouri regarding "legitimate rape". I am even more taken aback, ashamed, and completely disgusted by the outright cowardice of those in the Republican party. I am sick and tired of Republicans who let the Democrats and the media push them around. Republicans allow Democrats to make the rules, and they play by them like cowardly pushovers with no sack. Grand Old Party. They should call it Grand Old Pansies. No one agrees with what Akin said, but good grief...the Republicans getting in on this media induced, Democrat influenced shark feeding frenzy make me sick. To mask their own political cowardice, they publicly and vocally distance themselves from Akin to such an extreme they look like fools. Meanwhile, the Democrats are running the narrative to death because that is what they do best, and I give them all the credit in the world for it.

Democrats fight hard for what they believe. I may disagree with Democrat policies and liberal ideology, but by golly they fight tooth and nail for what they want. They are vicious competitors who are willing to do anything to win, by any means. They know how to harness emotion and they know the useful tactics to translate that emotion into votes. While Republicans cower in a corner like prissy schoolgirls, Democrats fight like hell to destroy the enemy. Why can't Republicans do the same?

Every person in America now knows Congressman Akin's name because the Democrats and their media accomplices forced it....and the Republicans helped them as willing partners. Akin, the Republican who thinks rape is ok. Akin, the Republican who hates women. Akin, the idiot Republican who missed science class. This is what the Democrats have succeeded in doing, and now they intend to tie Akin to Romney, Ryan, and the rest of the GOP. It is a typical strategy, and a good one.

Why can't Republicans ever do the same? Why can't Republicans become ferocious when comes to testy issues like Fast and Furious? Or Solyndra? Or Barack Obama's extreme stance on partial birth abortion? Or his blatant leaking of classified material? Or Frank Marshall Davis? Or Van Jones? Or Joe Biden exclaiming that Republicans will but African Americans back in chains? Or "Goddamn America" Jeremiah Wright? Or Bill Ayers? Or Rashid Khalidi? Or the fact President Obama delegated half a million dollars in stimulus money to run Obama political campaign ads?

There are countless issues the Republicans could take advantage of. But they don't, because they are a pack of puppy dogs with a little yelp and no bite. Republicans look for issues to attack Democrats on, they find one, try it for a little while, then go, "Meh...next..", if it doesn't catch on. There is no reason why the Republicans should have dropped the issue of Jeremiah Wright or Bill Ayers. Every American in this country should know these two names but they don't. They have no freakin' clue. Because pansy Republicans don't have the backbone to do the dirty work. Democrats, on the other hand, find issues and pounce on them with tenacity, and they don't relent. As of right now, the Democrats have the bigger sack, and the sour puss Republicans who wanted to get in on a little Akin bashing action to save their own skin have no sack. Nothing.

The Republican Party makes me sick. They have no backbone. They have no killer instinct. They are the complete embodiment of John McCain. They used to be tough back in the day, but now they are little whimpering, compromising cowards who let the left make the rules.
