Info Post

The choices are now clear and the teams picked after Mitt Romney's selection of the young, energetic, and articulate Paul Ryan to join him on the GOP ticket. The squeamish uncertainty felt towards Romney by some conservatives is a thing of the past and the massive turnout for Romney-Ryan rallies proves it. Aside from a few libertarians here and there who still plan voting Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, or some other obscure candidate, the right wing base has now begun to coalesce around Romney and Ryan. Not only has Mitt Romney and the right blown Obama and the left out of the water in fundraising in each of the past 3 months, Romney also raised a staggering 3.5 million dollars in individual donations alone in just 24 hours following the Ryan VP announcement. The left is scared and they should be. The right wing has been mobilized like Axelrod and the Obama's camp never could have imagined. Where the Republican side of things was once a circus of bickering voices during the brutal primary season, it is now a united front against Obama and his liberal Chicago on the Potomac leviathan.

So let's just take a step back and survey the landscape of this election with an objective point of view. Whether you are a conservative or a liberal, you must accept the fact that Obama's "coolness" that electrified the youth and the black vote in 2008 no longer exists. He also no longer has the advantage of being new and fresh. The Obama brand is over, so what does that leave? It leaves the substance of his first term which will be remembered by two main things. The passage of Obamacare and the slow economy/high unemployment. The rest is all forgotten. That includes the bin Laden raid, Fast and Furious, and Solyndra. No one remembers these things, and some don't care. 8.2 percent unemployment and a super slow economy isn't going to cut it for the incumbent. And most of Americans still oppose Obamacare. This is why the Obama campaign cannot come up with any positive political ads aside from catching Osama bin Laden. All they can do is continue to character assault Romney, over and over and over again. He's a felon. Didn't pay his taxes. He super rich and out of touch. Funny, the left never had a problem when it was Ted Kennedy or John Kerry or Timothy Geithner.

Obama and Biden are a snoozefest of old ideas, negativity, and failure. There is no justifiable reason for giving Obama a second term. Now that there is a real comparison with Romney and Ryan and with the conventions looming right around the corner, the election cycle has moved into the final phase. America has a choice between a successful businessman with an attractive, young, and fresh running mate, or a failing and flailing incumbent full of negativity with a VP who is so old, boring, and gaffe prone even the left hates him.

Now that the ticket is set and the bumper stickers and yard signs are printing as we speak, America has the clear cut choice. Take your pick.
