Has a ring to it, no? I couldn't be happier with this news today. Paul Ryan was always the guy I had hoped would run for president. I am salivating over the upcoming Biden-Ryan debates.
Romney's Paul Ryan pick tells us a few things.
1) He wasn't willing to pander to the Hispanic vote by simply choosing a Hispanic (Marco Rubio, Susana Martinez) as his running mate. Nor was he willing to pander to women simply by choosing a woman. It was a strict choice based in ideological substance.
2) Wisconsin is now in the running to be full blown red territory in November.
3) Romney was willing to downsize his own name by adding someone to the ticket who is just as qualified to be president if not more so, effectively creating a team of 2 to vote for, not just Mitt Romney.
Watch Ryan bring the house down!
I couldn't be more enthused about the Romney Ryan ticket and those polled on the Drudge Report seem to agree. A quarter of a million people have already voted with 81% saying they think Paul Ryan was a good pick.
