Gallup: U.S. Distrust in Media Hits New High

 Americans' distrust in the media hit a new high this year, with 60% saying they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly. Distrust is up from the past few years, when Americans were already more negative about the media than they had been in years prior to 2004.\

The American media is dead because journalists no longer report the facts and instead spin stories to fit their own personal agendas. Journalists are now activists who use their profession as a weapon.

Americans are sick and tired of being sold news like a product. But that is what the media does everyday.

Yahoo News!, one of the most visited news websites, is perhaps the worst, attempting to mesh pop culture brain mush stories with hard news spiced up with an obvious anti-conservative bias. Their "news" stories are a completely fabricated, marketed product driven by sensationalism and emotionalism.

Like Yahoo News, every other news outlet does the same. They fabricate and market news, and then pre-package it and sell it to the American public with a nice little bow on top. MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Politico, Reuters, PBS, WaPo, NYTimes, LATimes and most of the other dying newspapers do this daily, with their product aimed towards a Democrat audience. Fox News does it aimed towards a Republican audience. They are equally nauseating.

Solution: Don't buy the garbage product the media sells. Do a Google News search and obtain news from a variety of sources first!
